Catfish parties from 1 to 4 persons. Base rate includes 2 anglers. Each additional angler is $25.00. Larger groups can be accommodated with 2 week advance notice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When you schedule a trip please communicate to the captain where you want to fish. Your choice of fishing license may require license in one or both states. Weather concerns and what to bring or not bring aboard will also be discussed.

Capt Taylor will take up to 4 anglers on his 21 foot Voyager pontoon specifically outfitted for catfish angling.  The boat is adequately powered by a dependable Yamaha 90 HP 4 stroke outboard and Minn Kota Co Pilot trolling motor for controlled drift fishing/trolling.  We will be able to fish shallow or deep, wherever the bite is happening.   Latest electronics:  Lowrance HDS 9 Live with GPS mapping.  Stout Driftmaster rodholders make bite detection very easy.   There is a Sunbrella bimini top for comfort in the sun or rain.

FAQ’S

What is a half day or full day?

1/2 day is 4 hours on water time, full day is 8 hours on water time.

Do you clean our catch?

No, but I may make some helpful suggestions to help you handle your catch following your trip. Bring a cooler to transport your catch and I will bring some ice for you.

Do you have a bathroom on your boat?

No, but I will be very sensitive to the needs of my parties, especially females. We can return to launch as necessary. This will not decrease on the water time. I do not want party members to be uncomfortable on their trip.

May we bring food?

Absolutely! I welcome you to eat while we fish.
How does a night trip go?

Night trips are on Lake Wylie only. We will target flatheads with live bait but also catch blue cats and channel cats at night with fresh cut baits. We will fish from an anchored position and fish up to 10 rods.
